Shipping and delivery:
Shipping fees are not refundable under any circumstance.
All orders are shipped in the order they are received. In general, we always try to ship orders right away, but please allow up to 7 business days for orders to ship after they are received.
We primarily use USPS. In special cases, UPS & FedEx are available for large orders or items that must be expedited. Please contact us for such services prior to ordering.
For international orders, shipping costs are estimated for USPS First Class International. While generally cheaper than priority services, note that First Class does not include international tracking and can sometimes take several days or weeks to arrive. For this reason, we recommend using USPS Priority international, since tracking is included and delivery times are more predictable.
Ampersand will send you a tracking number as provided by the shipping carrier when your order has been shipped.
Once as order ships, monitoring tracking is the customer’s responsibility. We do not track packages nor do we have access to additional information regarding a parcel’s location other than information provided by the carrier’s tracking number.
Ampersand is not responsible for any customs fees and/or additional taxes incurred for international packages
Please understand that Ampersand is not responsible for international packages that are delayed or lost. Insurance is optional at additional cost based on the value of the item shipped; please contact us for an estimate.
The rate charged for the Domestic Priority and International shipping is based on the weight of your products and your location. Before the final checkout page, you will be shown what the cost of shipping.
Returns and exchanges:
Merchandise that has been used or altered will not be accepted for return or exchange.
Returns will be accepted only if the return is sent within thirty (30) days of the delivery confirmation date or in store purchase with original receipt or invoice.
If your item is in like new condition, you may exchange your item for a different product. If additional costs apply for a price difference, you will be contacted for your information, as we do not retain credit card information from our customers. A full refund of the purchase price, excluding the shipping, will be made promptly upon receiving the merchandise in the same condition in which it was shipped. There are no refunds on items damaged in shipping. In that case, you must file a claim with the carrier that was used to return the item.
You must notify us of any return so that we will be expecting your package. Insurance is optional at your cost. Returns that are sent without our prior knowledge will be refused. We do not refund shipping costs or credit card fees. They will be deducted from the total amount of your refund.
How to return an item purchased online:
Your item must be in its original unused condition to be returned, unless there is a manufacturer defect. You must return the item within 30 days of receiving your purchase with original receipt or invoice.

What information do we collect? We collect information from you when you register on our site, place an order or subscribe to our mailing list. When ordering or registering on our site, as appropriate, you may be asked to enter your: name, e-mail address, mailing address, phone number or credit card information. The email address you provide for order processing, will only be used to send you information and updates pertaining to your order.
